We stopped for lunch in the small town of Williams. Along the way we drove through many Wheat farms.
The first thing that struck me about Albany is its old architecture (along with a mix of new). The centre of town doesn't look like its changed much in its over 100 year old history.
We were surprised to find out we arrived on the day of the Christmas Day parade.
Just a short drive out of Albany is the Torndirrup National Park which features many breathtaking views.
Until the 1970s, the whaling industry had a presence in Albany. Now the old whaling station is a museum, with an old whaling ship permanently docked.
We drove back to Perth via Margaret River and Bunbury.
